about me

I have a B.S. in Life Sciences from Ateneo de Manila University and a Masters in Biological Sciences from Nara Institute of Science and Technology. I grew up in the Philippines, spent my formative young adult years in Japan, and am now taking up a degree in Bioinformatics at UNSW in Australia. I speak the constructed international auxiliary language Esperanto, which I also sometimes use to write poetry.

Academically, I'm primarily interested in cancer evolution, and I'm currently building up the skills to study it in a more computational way by studying math and computer science.

As a writer, I like to explore topics related to the self, our place in the universe, and science-metaphors for love.
